Claude Monet lived in an era of rapid modernization accompanied by dramatic changes in landscapes. How did he respond to these shifting vistas and express them in his works? In our present era of changes in the natural environment, this exhibition looks through Monet’s eyes to pose the universal question of "how should we engage with nature?" to those of us living in the modern world.
